Plant

In plant physiology we research plant growth. How and why does the plant react to abiotic factors such as light, temperature, fertilization, substrate etc? We collect data to characterize in detail the response of the plant to these factors.

An important aspect within this area of expertise is the development of growth models. These models can predict plant development under specific abiotic conditions. This enables us to create the most optimal conditions for the plant. Cultivation under these optimal conditions results in higher production, yield and quality of plant products. Continues innovation and optimisation of abiotic factors in plant growth improves the success of the agricultural sector.
